These Terms of Use govern FodCare (the App). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

The App is a self-care tool that provides AI meal-photo analysis, FODMAP-level estimates, and features for logging and reviewing meals, symptoms, and bowel movements.

2. Important medical notice

The App is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or medical advice. Food information, FODMAP levels, and pattern views are informational; accuracy, completeness, and suitability for any individual are not guaranteed.

Consult a doctor or registered dietitian if you have health concerns or plan major dietary changes.

3. Premium subscriptions

The App offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The price, period, and any trial shown on Apple’s purchase confirmation screen control.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and renewal may be charged within 24 hours before that end. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings or App Store subscriptions. Purchases can be restored in the App. Refunds follow Apple’s policies and procedures.

4. AI estimates

Dish names, ingredients, portions, and FODMAP levels estimated from photos may be incorrect. Review the result before saving it. Responses to the same food vary with variety, ripeness, preparation, portion, and individual sensitivity. The App is not an official app of Google, Monash University, or any other third party.

5. User responsibility

You use the App at your own discretion and are responsible for your device and entries. Do not make health decisions solely from App data.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not violate laws, misuse, alter, copy, or reverse engineer the App, interfere with its operation, or infringe third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

Rights in the App, its design, text, and software belong to the developer or applicable rights holders. You receive a personal, non-commercial license to use the App.

8. Changes, suspension, and disclaimer

The App is provided as is. Features may change or stop without notice due to maintenance, failures, or legal changes. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for losses arising from use of the App.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as needed. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Japan.
