These Terms of Service (hereinafter "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using PurineCare (hereinafter "the App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The App is a health management application designed for recording and managing purine intake. It provides features including AI meal recognition, AI advice, water intake tracking, and statistics graphs.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The App is not a medical device and is not intended for medical use. Information provided by the App (purine content, calories, AI advice, etc.) is for reference purposes only, and its accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed.

For health-related decisions or treatment, always consult a physician or other qualified healthcare professional. The developer assumes no responsibility for any health issues arising from the use of the App.

3. AI Features

The AI meal recognition and AI advice features use Google Gemini API provided by Google LLC.

• AI meal recognition sends photos of meals taken or selected to Google Gemini API
• AI advice sends recorded meal data (food name, portion size, purine content, water intake) to Google Gemini API
• AI-estimated values are approximate and may differ from actual values
• An internet connection is required to use AI features
• Consent for data transmission is requested upon first use of AI features. If you do not consent, AI features will be unavailable

Transmitted data is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Subscription

The App offers a Premium Plan (monthly subscription).

• Premium Plan: ¥100/month (tax included)
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account after purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Renewal charges are processed within 24 hours after the end of the subscription period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription from Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the developer. Users may use the App only for personal and non-commercial purposes.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited.

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Unauthorized use, modification, or reproduction of the App
• Using the App for illegal activities

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." The developer makes no warranties regarding the operation, quality, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App. The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be changed without prior notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
